Barkate Orthodontics is committed to support our youth scholastic, art and sport programs that are so important to the development and overall childhood experiences that will benefit our children's futures. Dr. Barkate donates credit towards orthodontic treatment for your child's school or community program's silent auctions that will help raise funds to meet these goals. If you have an upcoming silent auction, or related event, be sure to notify us so as we can possibly be involved in your child's fund raising efforts.
Spirit Run
Newport Beach Spirit run is for all ages, proceeds benefit the Newport-Mesa School District. Newport's Spirit Run has raised over $1,000,000 in the past 22 years for educational programs. You can visit www.kinaneevents.com for more information.
Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
Dr. Barkate and his wife, Krystal, donate every year to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and Race for the Cure to fight women's breast cancer. Boys and Girls Clubs of America
 We also financially support the local Boys and Girls Club of America in San Juan Capistrano. Dr. Barkate offers to treat children chosen by the Boys and Girls Club of San Juan Capistrano who need, but would otherwise not be able to afford orthodontic treatment. AYSO
AYSO is a nation wide non-profit organization that devolops and delivers quality youth soccer programs. AYSO was established in 1964 in the Los Angeles area, and began with nine teams, today AYSO has over 50,000 teams and more than 650,000 players. Little League Baseball 
Little league baseball is a non-profit organization who's mission
is " to promote, develop, supervise and voluntary assist
in all lawful ways, the interest of those who will participate in Little League baseball or softball." The Little League program assists youth in developing the qualties of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well being. Our Thanksgiving Food Drive 
Benefiting the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. We will be collecting donations through the month of November. Please donate non-perishable canned or boxed food items at either of our locations. We appreciate your generous help.
Toys For Tots
